Waitakere athlete acknowledged with Nick Willis Scholarship

Waitakere City Athletic Club sends their heartfelt congratulations to Madison Earley, one of our phenomenal 14 year old athletes who was recognised as one of four North Island Colgate Games 2024 Nick Willis Scholarship recipients! Madi was one of four outstanding young athletes who were awarded these prestigious awards for their performance and sportsmanship at the North Island Colgate Games.

Madi has been part of our club for many years now and has made significant strides in her progress over this time, She trains tirelessly, gives up her time for the club on a frequent basis and absolutely smashed it at this year’s Colgates with two GOLD Medal placings in the 14 Girls Long Jump and 100m, a SILVER in the 200m and a BRONZE in the Hurdles. We adore her and are so, so stoked that she has been acknowledged with this awesome award.

Congratulations Madi! We can’t wait to see where your athletics career progresses to next!
