Dominic Overend gains new PB at Youth Olympic Games
Waitakere athlete Dominic Overend did the himself and the club proud at the recent Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires.
The 200m sprinter, who at only 16 years old is ranked number 2 in NZ for the 200m and the 100m, Dominic gained himself a new Pb 21.44 in stage 2 200m. Against some amazingly tough competition, the speedy teen finished a close up 4th in his heat and 11th and of 23 competitors overall.
